We are taking a proactive approach by ensuring that our whole team understand how diverse each culture is. Campus Perth has partnered with Mate in Oz, an organisation who is dedicated to international student services, and they will be providing our whole team with cultural awareness training on a bi yearly basis. All students will have to participate in an orientation program where we will clearly state Campus Rules which will address expectations on considerate and harmonious community living, Australian values and the approachability of our Residential Advisors to communicate any issues (big or small).
If there are any tensions within rooms, we will accommodate these students by moving them into new rooms. We really want to be proactive, rather than reactive.
